Urchins Within

Staring out at the scary dark sky
Wondering why is it so dark when people call it "a day".

A scary urchin scampering within me
Dark and pinching fear overpowers
I catch hold and strangle it to death.
The last breath and a few words
"I was trying to clear up your sky".

Suddenly I identify the dark within and see the momentary daylight outside
For a moment free, the next again I give up to the dark ugliness.

Hoping that murdering the infinite urchins can give me a day of daylight.
I flash a dark smile and wait for the next....
