On a more serious note, I'd be glad if she really did do so and comes up with evidence Floor

P.S.S. The Godiva brand then looked to North America. Godiva made its North American debut in 1966, at one of the country's most elegant department stores, Wanamaker's in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1972, the first Godiva boutique in North America opened on New York's fashionable Fifth Avenue. Today there are over 275 Godiva boutiques in North America.

America adapted Godiva chocolate 42 years ago, if you go to fifth avenue in New York City today, you'll learn that Godiva is also considered an American chocolate due to its popularity in America. If someone said that Godiva was originated in America, now that would be incorrect as it was from originally from Belgium .. even then its ORIGINS may have been elsewhere, but it still currently falls into the American chocolate category. Very Happy

Just because they are popular in America, it doesn't become American.

So you do agree it would be wrong to call Godiva chocolates American as they were within the origins of Belgium. I think point proven. Godiva chocolates are Belgium rich chocolates regardless of which country has "adapted" them Very Happy.

Every San Francisco election has something that captures the nation's attention - and this year it's Proposition R, the proposed renaming of a sewage-treatment plant after George W. Bush.

It's not the first time voters have had a chance to slap the outgoing commander in chief. In 2006, San Franciscans passed an advisory measure, with 58 percent of the vote, calling for Bush's impeachment.

This year, Prop. R would rechristen the $220 million Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant near Ocean Beach in honor of Bush.

Some may think it a joke. It's not.

Laughing Laughing

It's not today's news, lol the measure didn't pass though. I wanted to post it the week of elections but i forgot Laughing

People in SF really hate Bush Laughing Imagine hating someone so much that they wanna name the city's sewage after him Laughing Lol it's a good thing the measure didn't pass though lol. I kinda feel bad for Bush now Razz Poor guy!!

And if it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart, the only dream that mattered had come true. In this life, I was loved by you.
